NoAI for YouTube

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026 · Applies to the NoAI for YouTube browser extension published by Skynon Labs (https://skynonlabs.com).

English

No backend. No analytics. No tracking.

NoAI for YouTube does not operate a server. There is no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising SDK and no sale of data. Detection and settings are processed locally in your browser, except for requests to YouTube that are needed to read a video's AI disclosure.

Stored on your device

In the browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local), never synced or uploaded:

  • Your settings and lists (blocked phrases, blocked channels, allowed channels).
  • A detection cache: video ID, result (for example “labelled as AI” or “no label”), the video's channel ID and timestamps. At most 10,000 videos; entries expire after 30 minutes to 30 days, and you can clear them at any time in the extension's settings.
  • The number of items hidden in the current tab exists only in that tab's memory.

Sent to YouTube only

For a video whose result is not cached, the extension asks YouTube (www.youtube.com) for that video's disclosure information. The request contains only the video ID, the YouTube web client name and version, and the language code en. It is sent without cookies, so it is not linked to your Google account. As with any web request, YouTube also receives standard connection data such as your IP address and browser user agent — the same data it receives while you browse YouTube.

Never sent anywhere

Your browsing history, search queries, watch history and settings are never sent to Skynon Labs or to anyone else.

What the extension does not do

  • It does not read or use your Google or YouTube cookies or credentials.
  • It runs only on https://www.youtube.com/.
  • It does not load or execute remote code.
  • It shows no ads and collects no data for advertising.

Permissions

The extension requests only the storage permission and runs a content script on www.youtube.com. A small background service worker only draws the hidden-items count on the toolbar icon.

Links and donations

The extension links to Skynon Labs pages (website, this policy, support) and to our Buy Me a Coffee page (https://buymeacoffee.com/skynonlabs). Opening a link simply opens that page in a new tab; the extension sends no data with it. Donations are voluntary, happen on Buy Me a Coffee's website under their own privacy policy, and unlock nothing — every feature is free.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Questions: support page or contact form.

Türkçe

Sunucu yok. Analiz yok. Takip yok.

NoAI for YouTube bir sunucu işletmez.

Yalnızca YouTube'a gönderilenler

Eklenti Skynon Labs sayfalarına (web sitesi, bu politika, destek) ve Buy Me a Coffee sayfamıza (https://buymeacoffee.com/skynonlabs) bağlantı verir. Bir bağlantıya tıklamak yalnızca o sayfayı yeni sekmede açar; eklenti hiçbir veri göndermez. Bağış gönüllüdür, Buy Me a Coffee'nin kendi gizlilik politikasıyla onların sitesinde yapılır ve hiçbir özelliği açmaz; tüm özellikler ücretsizdir.

Değişiklikler ve iletişim

Bu politika değişirse yeni sürüm bu sayfada yeni tarihle yayımlanır. Sorularınız için: destek sayfası veya iletişim formu.
